We are pleased to announce a great opportunity for those who are considering placing your yacht into charter service or purchasing a vessel for placement into our fleet.  Now is the time!  As we prepare to re-open following Hurricane Ian's devastation in September, 2022 we are entering a time of wide-open opportunities for chartering and a pent-up charter and class demand.  Also, our plan is to keep our fleet smaller than in the past (roughly 8-12 vessels) so that each vessel has greater usage. We have already added two motor yachts to the fleet and are looking to add trawlers, sailboats, power cats and sailing cats as soon as possible. So many things have changed since we purchased our seven-boat charter operation in Ft. Myers in 1984. We realize this even more when our long-time charter clients come back year after year and say "Wow, you are really growing!" We may not see the changes ourselves from day to day, but we have come a long way. There are a number of visible changes, such as an expanded office, more employees, a second charter base, and so on. But our basic philosophy has not changed - to offer well managed, well-maintained charter yachts to our clients and to provide the best service possible to all of our customers. There are some other, perhaps less-visible, factors which are a part of our basic philosophy and which have contributed to our success:


WE ARE YACHTSMEN, TOO

Like many of you, we started out in boating for pleasure. We are sailors, cruisers, Captains, charterers, and boat owners ourselves. We understand the business from all sides, not just the side of the charter company. We know what charterers appreciate in a yacht; we know what an owner needs to protect his investment; and we know that quality in every aspect of our service is of prime importance.
THIS IS OUR HOME

We don't just talk about Southwest Florida; we live here - and love it! We have cruised these waters. We know each of our yachts first hand; not from a long-distance reservations office. We oversee our charter operations personally, and there is seven-day-a-week, on-site management for every yacht under our care.  The "personal touch" is one factor in our success in the industry. This factor is what has assured our boat owners, charterers and our staff of consistent quality over the years, and will continue to do so in the future.

We believe, because you have worked hard to afford a yacht of your own, your yacht deserves personal attention. We always tell people "we have no 'charter boats', only private yachts for charter." So, whether you live 10 miles away, or 1000 miles away, you can be assured that your yacht is receiving the best care possible.
A COMMITMENT TO OUR BUSINESS

We are not in the charter business "just for fun". Of course, we enjoy what we do. However, we also recognize the importance of proper management and sound business practices. Pick up a sailing magazine from two years ago or ten years ago and count how many charter companies who were advertising then are still in business today. Many have fallen by way of the "fun in the sun" syndrome. That is, they did not treat chartering as a business. They were only in it for the "fun". Or perhaps they didn't recognize the amount of hard work and dedication it takes to run a business, any business, in today's economic environment. We believe in our company, and are in it for "the long haul".  Please join us!
